Schumpeter prize
The international Schumpeter Prize is awarded for innovative achievements in the fields of business, politics and economics. This prize commemorates Joseph A. Schumpeter (1883-1950), the Harvard economist of Austrian origin and one of the most influential economists and social scientists of the 20th century, whose work is equally characterised by economic theory, politics and practice. Schumpeter worked at Harvard University, among other places, and had a lasting influence on the concept of innovation (including the concepts of "creative destruction" and the entrepreneurial personality).
